It's Saturday, and we've got a ton of fun things happening at the mountain today! From races to rail jams, demos to dinner, there is something everyone is sure to find fun, festive, and fantastic.
It looks like it will be a pretty nice day with temps in the low 30's and fair skies. We'll be rocking the outside bar on the bricks again, so make sure you stop by for a $5 beverage and some time by the fire.
We will be hosting the U16 NHARA Slalom Qualifier right on Showboat. Check out some of the state's finest athletes from the lift while you ride the quad to the top of Spear. If you want to catch the action up close, feel free to stop by the finish and cheer these boys and girls on! For more information on our spectator policy, check this out.
USASA is back at Ragged to host one of their Rail Jam competitions. Check out these up and coming freestyle competitors as they test their skill against one another. Our Terrain Park Crew has done an amazing job this season setting up top notch terrain parks, so if you see them, give them a thank you and a crisp high-five! In addition to all the fun already going on, Sport Thoma will be holding another demo day in the base area. If you're looking for a new set up, this is the perfect opportunity to try out some of this year's hottest skis.
To wrap up the day, head on up to the Stone Hearth Bar and join in on the Mardi Gras festivities from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Samuel Adam's will be in town for a Tap Takeover, and the Freeway Revival Band will be hanging as well, kickin' out the tunes. To complete the evening, why not join us for a traditional, Louisiana-inspired, Creole buffet -- complete with Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and Shrimp Po' Boy Sliders. Adults are $19.99 while kids 12 and under are $14.99. Buy your tickets right at the bar!Last Edited by Ragged Mountain on Saturday, February 17, 2018
