About the Program

Ragged Mountain Ski Team (RMST) is a United Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) affiliated ski team, based out of Ragged Mountain Resort in Danbury, New Hampshire. Ragged Mountain Ski Team is a weekend based Alpine ski program that strives to provide the best opportunity for young athletes of all ages, backgrounds and commitment levels, the chance to enjoy and achieve excellence in alpine skiing and racing. Early Season Camp in Loveland, CO

The dates for camp have changed to November 1st - November 5th. The reason for this date change is due to a reduction in airfare costs and the addition of a $250 subsidy for RMST Athletes to attend. Registration is limited to 6 athletes and will close on October 15th. For more information or to sign up click here.

This camp is concentrated on those athletes (U14/16/19) who want to free ski on snow early to get a step up on the competition. We will focus on skiing fundamentals, including stance, turn shape, parallel position and transitions between turns.

Training Information

Race training will begin in early December when the mountain opens and will continue until March 25, 2018. This is the primary RMST program open to U10 through U21 age skiers. It consists of coached training on both Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and additional training during Christmas vacation week and holiday periods. Coaching is provided for early season fundamentals, and coaching / training is geared toward preparing the RMST racers for the NH divisional and open races, up to the NH state championships for the 17-18 ski season. Regional, National, or International Championship level events may incur additional coaching fees to cover coaches travel expenses. Race entry fees are the responsibility of the athlete/parent. USSA and NHARA membership is required. This is the only program available for racers wishing to participate in USSA races. Groups will be formed by USSA age categories. Participation may be limited due to coaching constraints, but every effort possible will be made to accommodate all interested athletes.
