Lessons aren’t just for beginners anymore. Whether you’re a first timer skier or first run-of-the-day fanatic, the talented instructors of Ragged Mountain can help you enjoy a more rewarding mountain experience.
First TIMERS GET UP AND GO
TO THE TOP, INTRO TO SKIING AND RIDING
Ragged Mountain is determined to get you “To-the-Top” by your third lesson, or sooner, with our To-the-Top Learn to Ski and Ride Program. We’ve created an experience for beginners that most mountains are not able to deliver including top of the mountain views, lunch at our mid-mountain restaurant and the thrill of making it from top to bottom. The To-the-Top Program is created for those learning to ski or ride over the age of 13.
One lesson is just $69 and a package of three lessons is $179. Both options include lift ticket, rentals, and a 2 hour lesson. At the completion of the third lesson discounts on season passes will be made available or Ragged Mountain will provide you with a free one-day lift ticket. Lesson times are at 9:45am, 12noon and 1pm.
Authorized Burton Learn to Ride Center - Ragged Mountain has teamed up with Burton Snowboards to help first time riders enjoy greater success at an accelerated pace. The Learn to Ride program includes specially designed beginner equipment with carefully crafted instruction for a more rewarding experience. More Information
KIDS
A Lesson for Every Level - Learning programs at Ragged Mountain include: Mighty Moose (age 3), Ragged Rangers (Ages 4-6), Rookie or Ragged Rippers (Ages 7-12), and a full range of adult and private lessons. We also offer half and full-day Kid’s Adventure Camps, where participants spend their time in a friendly group environment that makes learning fun. ADULTS

Level 1 - This is my first time! I would like

my equipment, controlling my speed, turning
and stopping.
Level 2 - I have mastered the ground lifts, and I am ready for the chairlifts. I’m getting comfortable
on my skis or snowboard, and

Level 3 - I am confident on the green slopes. I can ride the chairlift, and
