Ragged Mountain Turns 60: A Weekend to Remember!
This year marks a major milestone for Ragged Mountain—60 incredible years of skiing, snowboarding, and unforgettable memories. What an achievement, especially for an independent mountain! From our humble beginnings in January 1965, with a T-Bar lift, a Hall Double Chair, no snowmaking system, and plumbing challenges, we’ve come a long way to become one of New England’s top independent ski areas. We’ve expanded our terrain, added Spear Peak, and even became the first mountain in New England to feature a high-speed 6-pack chairlift. But it’s not just about the upgrades — it’s about the experiences and memories we’ve shared with you, our loyal skiers and snowboarders.
To celebrate six decades of adventures, we’re throwing the ultimate birthday bash, and we want YOU to join us! The celebration kicks off on March 21, with a weekend packed with exciting events, throwback fun, and plenty of surprises. Trust us—you won’t want to miss it! This announcement is so big, we even built an entire page for it!
