First Significant Storm of the Season

The 2023-24 winter season is now upon us and the early season conditions have been fantastic!  We received 4 inches of snow accumulation out of this past storm cycle and the forecast continues to look favorable.  It is so nice to have our winter playground back at Ragged Mountain!

The snowmaking team anticipates firing up the system early this week and we will get at least 48 hours of good snow production. The plan is to continue hitting Barnyard, Upper Ridge, Newfound Ridge, Wanna Be Wild, Village Green and Main Street.

Slopes

We currently have 8 trails and 29 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain open. This consists of Blueberry, Beginner Basin, Main Street, Raggedy Andy, The Meadows, Lower Chute, Upper Chute and Village Green. Our snow base depths are averaging 12 – 18 inches across all trails and ski slopes.

Lift Operations

The Summit Six Express chairlift and Meadows surface lift are now loading guests seven days a week.  Operating hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm and Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Grooming / Terrain Parks

Grooming will continue to adjust between evenings and mornings depending on temperatures and when optimal conditions set up.  There are large piles on Headwall, Upper Ridge, Newfound Ridge and Barnyard that our grooming team will begin pushing out soon.  The park crew has done a tremendous job building the early-season park we currently have located on Village Green.  Features currently consist of 3 rails, 1 propane tank and 1 small jump.

• Tickets valid any day the resort is open during the 2023-24 winter season
• Four Pack ticket holders do not need a reservation and have priority ahead of day ticket buyers in the event of capacity restrictions
• Tickets may be shared among family & friends, including all on the same day… or keep all 4 for yourself
• 4-Packs are only valid at the home resort where they were purchased

Lift tickets and rentals MUST be purchased online in-advance to guarantee availability and your place on the slopes.  Browse and purchase on our online store HERE.

Lift ticket sales may be limited to ensure a quality mountain experience. Due to anticipated high demand, especially during peak holiday periods, lift tickets and rentals must be purchased online in advance. In the event lift tickets sell out, guests will not be able to buy them in-resort at the ticket window.  Season pass holder, 4-Packs, Buddy Tickets purchased with the passholder present are guaranteed access.
